Antique Brass ‘R & J Beck’ Microscope (Boxed)

This lovely, antique, all brass microscope comes with its original, mahogany wooden case and accessories. It was manufactured around the turn of the century in London, England by makers ‘R & J Beck’ and appears to be in great condition. It is stamped on the back of the base ‘R & J BECK Ltd, LONDON’ with the serial number ‘28010’, with numerous other places and pieces on the microscope being stamped with the makers details. It comes with four other accessories, three screw-on signed ‘objectives’ and a 10X eyepiece. The fitted wooden case has a hinged lockable door (no key) with a brass swing handle on the top. It appears to be in good working condition with a nice patina to the brass. The case measures 33cm x 19,5cm x 15cm and together with the microscope weighs 6,36kg.
