Antique Cased English Dessert/Fruit Knives & Forks Set

This fine quality, lovely, antique desert set of twelve silver-plated fruit knives and forks are in wonderful condition and come presented in their original silk and velvet lined wooden case (with key). The set was made in Sheffield, England around the turn of the century by ‘Robert Fead Mosley & Sons’ (RFM & S), well-known British cutlery manufactures. The lockable wooden case is in great condition complete with a key and has a blank, shield shaped brass cartouche on the lid. The knives measure 20cm in length, the forks 18cm, with the case measuring 35cm x 25,5cm x 6cm and together the set weighs 1,55kg.
