Antique Cased Silver Christening Spoon & Fork Set (1910)

This fabulous, fine quality, antique, cased, sterling silver Christening set is in excellent condition and appears to have never been used. The spoon and fork have matching decorative handles with attractive cut-out and engraved detail. Both pieces have a lovely weight and are English hallmarked on the back for Sheffield 1910 and stamped ‘R&B’ for silversmiths ‘Roberts & Belk Ltd’. The pair comes with its original leatherette presentation case, lined with green satin and velvet, and is stamped on the lid by the original retailers ‘J. Kirschbaum, Watch Maker and Jeweller, Salisbury , Rhodesia’. The spoon measures 14cm in length, the fork measures 14,5cm and together they weigh 44,5g.
