Antique Copper & Brass ‘Hawksley’ Powder Flask

This original, scarce, antique ‘Hawksley’ powder flask has an attractive pear-shaped copper body decorated in relief on both sides with stag heads and entwined oak leaves with acorns. The brass top has a four-setting adjustable nozzle and is stamped on the side ‘HAWKSLEY’ and ‘DRAMS’ for measurements and other than a small soft dent on the one side and a tight spring it’s in excellent condition with a lovely patina. It measures 21cm in length, 10cm at its widest, with a depth of 4cm and weighs 235g.
