This good quality, antique French copper jelly mould was made by ‘TROTTIER’ in Paris during the late 1800’s, who were one of the leading French manufacturers of copper kitchen ware in the 19th century. It has an attractive shape with a lovely rich colour and was produced out of a thick gauge of copper giving it a good weight. Other than a few small dents relative to age and use, it’s in good condition with its original tin lining. The mould stands 13cm high, has a base diameter of 11,5cm, weighs 235g and is stamped on the side ‘TROTTIER, FNT, PARIS’ in a circle, with the mould shape number ‘11’ underneath.
