Antique French ‘Iris De Paris’ Sporting Binoculars

This original, lovely pair of French antique sporting binoculars by ‘Iris De Paris’ (1880-1915), with eye cups and leather grips, have engraved factory logos on each tube, one reads ‘SPORTING’ above a jumping horse, and the other ‘MARQUE IRIS DE PARIS – QUALITE GARANTIE’. They function well and the lens appear nice and clear, and other than a small soft dent on the front and marks due to age and wear and tear, they’re in great condition. The binoculars measure 12cm in length (15cm extended) x 11cm and weigh 470g.
