Antique Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase (Meiji Period)

Sold!

This wonderful, fine quality, colourful Japanese cloisonne enamel vase, from the Meiji period (1968-1912), probably dates to the late 1800’s. The vase is beautifully decorated with what appears to be dragons, phoenix birds, and flowers, all in fine detail, and in numerous and unusual colours. Other than two very small enamel chips around the middle, it is in great condition. The vase stands 17,8cm tall, with a diameter of 8cm at its widest.
