Antique ‘L.M. Ericsson’ Home Manual Switchboard (Stockholm)
This unusual, very early, interesting piece was made around the turn of the century, by ‘L.M. ERICSSON’ in Stockholm, Sweden. I believe it to be a very early, wall mounted home switchboard for a manual telephone, with a rotary type of switch, with a double bell set, but please refer to my photographs, as I’m not an authority in this field. The attractive shaped thick wooden base board appears to be mahogany, with a screwed on wooden backing, and there’s an impressed number on the wooden front ‘C 732’. This unusual piece is in a good, aged condition and appears to be intact. It measures 34cm x 14,5cm x 9cm and weighs 1,76kg.
