Antique Miniature Solid Silver ‘Coronation’ Throne (1910)

This superb, solid silver, antique piece, is a wonderful miniature replica of the Coronation Throne, often known as ‘St Edwards’ Throne located in Westminster Abbey, on which all English monarchs are crowned. It’s a lovely quality piece with superb detail and was made in London in 1910 by silversmiths ‘Saunders & Shepherd’ (Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Sheperd) (CS * FS). This miniature throne is in excellent condition and measures 30mm x 22mm, stands 56mm high and weighs 23,1g.
