Antique ‘Mother of Pearl’ & Silver-Plate Knife Rest

This beautiful, very well-made knife rest from the early 1900’s is in excellent condition. It stands on silver- plated ball legs, with a ‘mother of pearl’ centre and a silver, thistle embossed collar on each end. It measures 10cm in length, stands 4cm high, with a width of 4,7cm at its widest.

Note: A knife rest is a small low utensil for supporting the blade of a knife at the dinner table so that it does not mess on the tablecloth.
