Antique ‘Satsuma’ Pottery Vase (Signed)

This wonderful, early Japanese, signed ‘Satsuma’ vase, is beautifully decorated and hand painted in various colours with amazing and very fine gilt work and is signed on the base. There’s so much fine detail on this vase, from the two large heart shaped, decorated panels, to the amazing artwork on the shoulders and neck, and the gilt work down the sides and around the base. The vase has a lovely shape and stands 17,5cm high, with a diameter of 10cm at its widest, a base diameter of 5,5cm and weighs 455g.
