Antique Scottish Silver & Malachite Brooch/Pendant

This lovely, late Victorian, Scottish, sterling silver and malachite brooch is beautifully made with wonderful detail. It has a circular, domed shape with a scalloped edge, inlaid with individually cut and shaped pieces of natural green malachite, all bordered with pretty, finely engraved patterns. It’s a nice quality piece with a good weight and is fitted with a rear top jump ring, so it could also be worn as a pendant. This lovely brooch is in great condition with a secure pin and although there are no stamps, it has been confirmed as sterling silver. It has a rough diameter of 5cm and weighs 27g.
