Antique Silver Art Nouveau ‘Cherubs’ Hand Mirror (1904)

This fabulous, antique, sterling silver, art nouveau, repousse hand mirror is beautifully decorated with two cherubs amongst flowers with amazing detail. It has a lovely shape with its original, oval bevelled mirror and is honestly one of the nicest silver mirrors I’ve ever come across. It was manufactured in 1904 in Chester, England by well-known silversmiths ‘James Deaken & Sons’ (John & William) ‘JDWD’, and other than a couple of faint marks on the mirror it’s in excellent condition, with nice clear hallmarks. It measures 29cm x 11,5cm and weighs 290g.
