Antique Silver ‘Cherubs’ Chatelaine Purse

This lovely, small, antique, sterling silver English hallmarked purse is decorated in relief on both sides with five cherubs, often referred to as the ‘Reynolds Angels’ pattern. It has a green fabric concertina interior that functions well and is fitted with a short chain with a loop to attach to a chatelaine. Other than a few soft minor dents on the sides, it’s in great condition and the purse opens and closes properly. This collectable piece was made in Birmingham in 1910 by silversmiths ‘Plante & Co’ (P&Co)
