Antique Silver ‘Waltham’ Pocket Watch (Model 1883)

These lovely, solid silver, antique gents open-faced pocket watch made by the ‘American Waltham Watch Co.’ is working well and according to the movements serial number ‘108788420’ is a ‘Model 1883’ and was probably made in 1901. It has a plain white enamelled dial with black roman numerals with a small ‘seconds-hand’ dial, and the silver case is in great condition with a simple engine turned decoration along with an engraved, ‘garter’ framed blank cartouche. It has a screw off glass front revealing a hinged movement, that releases when the hand adjuster/winder is lifted and other than age related wear to the original glass, it’s in great condition and appears to be keeping good time. It measures 5,7cm in diameter (7,5cm with the winder) and weighs 143,6g.
