Antique Solid Silver Sauce Boat (1923)

This lovely, fine quality, sterling silver sauce or gravy boat from the early 1920’s, is in excellent condition with clear English hallmarks and a nice weight. It was made in Birmingham in 1923 by silversmiths ‘A & J Zimmerman Ltd’ (AZJ), which was founded by ‘Arthur & John Zimmerman’ in 1879 and stopped trading in 1920. The gravy boat measures 15,5cm from handle to spout, with a width of 9cm, stands 8,5cm high and weighs 105g.
