Antique Sterling Silver Grape Scissors (Cased)

This wonderful, fine quality pair of antique, solid silver grape scissors are in excellent condition and comes with its original, hinged presentation case. They are beautifully made with cut-out detailing on the handles, and a lovely shell decoration in relief on both sides. They are stamped with nice clear English hallmarks on the back and were made in London in 1911, by the makers ‘Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.’ (G & S. Co). They were manufactured in a thick gauge of silver, giving them a super weight of 95g, and a measurement of 18cm in length. The case is lined with maroon velvet and cotton wool in the lid, where the velvet is missing. The case measures 21cm x 9cm x 3,5cm.
