Attractive ‘Poole Pottery’ Cookie Jar & Lid

This attractive, early ‘Poole Pottery’ cookie jar and lid from the 1950’s is in excellent condition, and complete with its original wicker handle. It’s beautifully hand painted in soft colourful flowers, and carries the ‘Poole’ backstamp that was used between 1952 and 1955, as well as an artist’s signature in black and an impressed number ‘230’. The jar and cover stand 14,5cm high, with a width of 13cm (16cm with handle knobs) and weighs 720g.
