Boer War – Q.S.A. Medal (Def. of. Ladysmith) ‘A. Peddie – Border M. Rifles’

This original, full size ‘Queen South Africa’ medal with a single clasp, ‘Defence of Ladysmith’, was issued to ‘Trooper A. Peddie’ of the ‘Border Mounted Rifles’. The rim of the medal reads ’55 TPR. A. PEDDIE. BORDER M.R.’. This medal is un-researched, but confirmed on the Ladysmith Siege Account and Medal Roll, and comes with its original ribbon, is nicely tarnished and in excellent condition.
