Boer War – QSA & KSA Medals to ‘PTE. M. Rauff’ (P.A.V.G.)
This original pair of full-size silver medals consisting of the ‘Queens South Africa’ medal with three clasps (Cape Colony, Orange Free State, & Johannesburg) and the ‘Kings South Africa’ medal with two clasps (S. Africa 1901 & 1902) were issued to ‘Private M. Rauff’ of the ‘Prince Alfreds Volunteer Guard’ (P.A.V.G.). Both medals are in great condition, nicely tarnished with their original ribbons, are un-researched but confirmed on the rolls and the rims read ‘1382 PTE. M. RAUFF, P.A.V.G.’.
