British – G.S. Medal with ‘Canal Zone’ Clasp (Royal Engineers)

This original, full size ‘British General Service’ medal with a single ‘CANAL ZONE’ clasp was awarded to ‘Sapper A.G. Higgs of the Royal Engineers’. The medal is in excellent condition with its ribbon and is stamped on the rim ‘22761935 SPR. A.G. HIGGS. R.E.’

Note: The ‘Canal Zone’ clasp was issued for service in Egypt during the ‘Suez Canal Zone’ troubles between 16^th October 1951 and the 19^{th of} October 1954.
