Early Large ‘Carlton Ware’ Basket/Bowl (Foxglove)

This attractive, large, vintage porcelain handled bowl or basket from the 1930/40’s was produced by the ‘Carlton Ware’ factory in England and is decorated in the ‘foxglove’ pattern against a yellow background. The bowl and base are cleverly modelled to look like over-lapping leaves, with the handle resembling a twig or branch. This lovely piece is in excellent condition, and is stamped on the base with the ‘Carlton Ware’ backstamp. It measures 26cm x 18,5cm, stands 14cm high and weighs 670g.
