Early Moorcroft Pottery ‘Hibiscus Pattern’ Vase

This lovely, early, Moorcroft pottery vase from the 1950’s, is decorated and tube-lined in the colourful ‘Hibiscus’ pattern against a mottled blue background. It has a pretty shape and is hand painted with two large Hibiscus flowers, one in a crimson, reddish colour and the other with yellow and purple petals.  This attractive vase is in excellent condition with lovely colours and minimal crazing and is stamped ‘MOORCROFT’ & ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ on the base in blue,. It stands 8,5cm high, with a diameter of 7,5cm at its widest and weighs 147g.
