Early Royal Copenhagen ‘Flight to America’ Figurine (1761)

This adorable, early, hand painted porcelain figure from the 1960’s, titled ‘Flight to America’ depicts two young boys, the younger one holding a book under his arm. The figurine was made by the well-known ‘Royal Copenhagen’ factory in Denmark in 1960 and designed by ‘Christian Thomsen’, whose signature is impressed on the edge of the base, along with the blue and green factory backstamps and the model number ‘1761’, on the base. This beautiful figurine is in excellent condition and stands 20,5cm high.
