Early Solid 9ct ‘Rose – Gold’ Thimble
This scarce, lovely, heavy 1930’s 9ct rose-gold thimble, with the traditional ‘honeycomb’ design, was made in 1936 in Birmingham, England, by makers ‘James Swann & Son’ (J.S & S). As well as the English hallmarks, it’s also stamped ‘9’ ‘.375’ for 9ct gold, and the number ‘6’ for the thimble size. This lovely thimble is in excellent condition with a nice weight of 5,6g. It stands 22mm high, with a base width of 18mm.
