Early Sterling Silver & Gold Bangle (Chester 1958)

This fabulous, early, English hallmarked, sterling silver and gold hinged bangle with safety chain, features three beautiful gold birds in relief with hand engraved detail along the front. It was made in 1958 in Chester, England by silversmiths ‘Joseph Smith & Sons’ (JS). Sadly, it has a few dents along the sides which aren’t that noticeable from the front, otherwise it’s a super piece with a strong hinge and a secure, push in clasp that clips shut, the bangle is oval measuring 7cm x 6,5cm, with a width of 1,8cm and weighs 28,7g.
