This fabulous, early Victorian, beautifully made pocket snuff box, is hand crafted in the form of a small book, with precise measurements and is fitted with hidden pin hinges. The box has two compartments fitted with airtight hinged lids and appears to be made from ‘Burr Birch’ wood and lined with tortoise shell. This special piece is in great condition with lovely detail and still retains some of its original snuff powder. The box measures 7,5cm x 4,2cm x 1cm.
