Exquisite Antique Boxed Pair of Serving Spoons

This beautiful, very early pair of silver-plated serving spoons, with gilt shell bowls, are in excellent condition and look as if they have never been used. They were manufactured by the well known ‘Mappin Brothers’ in the late 1800’s and are cased in a fitted, blue velvet and satin lined box, which is stamped ‘Mappin Brothers, 66 Cheapside, 220 Regent Street, London.’ They have a lovely weight and measure 23.5cm in length, with a bowl measurement of 7.5cm x 5.5.cm.
