Fabulous Pair of Sterling Silver Candelabra (Garrard & Co)

This fabulous, early, pair of top-quality, heavy solid silver candelabra are in amazing condition and were made in 1954 in Birmingham, England by renowned silversmiths ‘Garrard & Co.’ (Founded in 1735). They’re beautifully made in the Georgian style with attractive stems, supporting ‘two light’ branches and stand on round, unweighted bases. The candelabra are cast in a heavy gauge of sterling silver, giving them a good weight (not filled), featuring lift-out branches, to provide single candlesticks if needed. All the pieces are fully English hallmarked as well as stamped ‘GARRARD & Co. LTD’ ‘112 REGENT ST. LONDON W’ on the bases. They each stand 20cm high, measure 24,5cm wide across the branches, have a base diameter of 10cm and together weigh 1,35kg.
