Large 1950’s ‘Richard Mead’ Copper Vase (Southern Rhodesia)

This attractive, large, handmade copper vase with twin handles and a hand beaten finish, was made around the 1950’s in Sothern Rhodesia by coppersmith ‘Richard Mead’. It has a lovely, polished copper patina and other than a small, not very noticeable, soft dent on the side, it’s in great condition and is stamped on the base ‘MADE IN S. RHODESIA’ along with ‘Richard Meads’ signature. The vase stands 35cm high, 28cm handle to handle, has a base diameter of 14cm and weighs 770g.
