Large Early Brass & Wooden Postal Scale with Weights

This large, vintage, English made brass postal scale is mounted on a wooden platform and comes with a set of three original solid brass weights. The scale has polished up nicely with a lovely, aged colour and appears to be in great condition. One of the brass support arms is stamped ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ and ‘WARRANTED ACCURATE’. The wooden base measures 25,5cm x 13,7cm and rests on four round bun feet, and the scale stands 10cm high and together with the weights, weighs a heavy 1390g.
