Large Early ‘Winston Churchill’ Character Jug (J & G Meakin)

This scarce, large, early, white character jug depicting the bust of ‘Winston Churchill’ (early Prime Minister of England) wearing his traditional hat and bow tie, is in excellent condition. It was modelled by ‘Frank A. Potts’ for English makers ‘J & G Meakin’ in 1941 and is stamped on the base with their backstamp. The jug measures 16cm x 13cm and stands 16cm high.
