Large Royal Doulton ‘Sam Weller’ Character Jug

This early, large, Royal Doulton character jug ‘Sam Weller’ was produced between 1940 and 1960 and designed by ‘Leslie Harradine & Harry Fenton’. ‘Sam Weller’ was a character from one of ‘Charles Dickens’ novels, ‘The Pickwick Papers’. This lovely hand painted jug is in excellent condition and measures 16cm x 14cm with a height of 13,5cm.
