Large Signed ‘Shirley Cloete’ Art Glass Vase (1921 – 2010)

This stunning, heavy, multi coloured studio glass vase has a wonderful array of colours – blues, greens and purples – some with swirls, but all showing some form of movement. It is by Shirley Cloete, who was one of South Africa’s leading glass artists. She had many exhibitions in South Africa, 3 in London and 1 in Munich. She was also a member of the British Artists in Glass and the Glass Art Society in America. It has her full signature on the base and is in excellent condition. It stands 16cm in height, 15cm at its widest and weighs 1.8kg’s.
