Lovely 1930/40’s ‘Maling’ Plate (Windmill)

This early, hand-painted ‘Maling’ pottery plate from the 1930/40’s, is decorated in bright colours with lovely tube-lining work giving it an unusual finish. It features a large windmill with a yellow moon above, surrounded by a border of pink flowers with greenery against a cobalt blue background. This beautiful plate is in excellent condition and carry’s the black ‘MALING’ backstamp with ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ impressed on the back. It measures 28,5cm in diameter.
