Lovely Quality Vintage Carving Knife & Fork (Sheffield)

This good quality, early, silver-plated carving knife and fork are in superb condition and appear to have never been used. They were made around the 1950/60’s by the renowned silversmith and retailer ‘Cooper Bros & Sons’ in Sheffield, England who were known for their high-quality cutlery and tableware. This pair are in the elegant and discontinued silver-plated ‘Dubarry’ pattern with stainless steel blade and fork tines. The inscription on the blade reads ‘COOPER BROS & SONS LTD, STAINLESS STEEL, SHEFFIELD ENGLAND’. The knife measures 29,5cm and the fork 25,5cm and together weigh 200g.
