Mini Royal Doulton ‘Mr. Micawber’ Character Jug

This early, mini, Royal Doulton character jug ‘Mr. Micawber’ was produced between 1948 and 1960 and designed by ‘Leslie Harradine and Harry Fenton’. ‘Mr. Micawber’ was Mr. Copperfield’s landlord and friend who unmasked Uriah Heep as a villain in Charles Dickens classic novel ‘David Copperfield’. This lovely hand painted jug is in excellent condition and measures 5,5cm x 4,3cm with a height of 6cm.
