Pre – WW1 Solid Silver ‘Border Mounted Rifles’ Marksman’s Badge/Medal

This lovely quality, heavy, pre-WW1 sterling silver ‘Border Mounted Rifles’ (BMR) ‘Marksman Badge’ or medal comes complete with four silver date clasps, 1909,10,11, & 12 attached to a green ribbon with a pin clasp at the top and one on the back of the badge. The back is stamped with English silver hallmarks, dating this to be manufactured in 1911 in Birmingham by silversmiths ‘William James Dingley’ (W.J.D). This medal/badge is in excellent condition with secure pins and original ribbon. It measures 12cm x 4,5cm and weighs 47,8g.
