Rare Antique Silver & Mother of Pearl Fruit Knife & Orange Peeler

This rare, Edwardian, sterling silver, combined folding fruit knife and orange peeler, with a mother of pearl inlaid handle, was made in Sheffield, England in 1904 by silversmiths ‘William Needham’ (WN). Both the blade and orange peeler are stamped with a full set of silver hallmarks and the peeler is also stamped ‘PATENT ORANGE PEELER’, with a registered design number ‘Rd 389355’. The fruit knife and mother of pearl inlay are in great condition with minor signs of use related wear. Closed it measures 8,2cm x 2,2cm x 1,2cm and extended it measures 14,5cm and weighs 50,2g.
