Rare Boer War – P.O.W. (St. Helena) Bone Brooch

This rare Prisoner of War sweetheart brooch has been beautifully hand carved out of bone and is inscribed on the front ‘F.J.E.S’ and ‘STH’. Other than a tiny chip to the one corner, it’s in great condition and measures 4cm x 2,8cm.

Note: Over 6000 Boers were interned at St. Helena during the Boer War.
