Rare Fully Signed ‘Springbok Rugby Captains & Heroes’ 1995 First Day Cover (Only 120)

This impressive, large, rare, fully signed and numbered, original, certified first day cover is one of only 120 ever made. This cover is number ‘16’ and was produced in a limited edition of only 120 to commemorate South African rugby stamps and players from 1964 to 1995 as well as the 1995 postmark. The cover is titled ‘SPRINGBOK CAPTAINS AND HEROES’ and is fully signed by 24 of South Africa’s great rugby players, which I have listed: Jannie Breedt, Tiaan Strauss, Carel du Plessis, Wynand Claasen, Keith Oxley, Mannetjies Roux, Abie Malan, Naas Botha, Stephen Fry, Theuns Stofberg, Nelie Smith, Ian McCallum, Clive Ulyate, Ryk van Schoor, Lionel Wilson, Basie van Wyk, Des van Jaarsveldt, Avril Malan, Jaap Bekker, HO de Villiers, Divan Serfontein, Doug Hopwood, Roy Dryburgh, Tom van Vollenhoven. There’s also a picture on the front of ‘Daniel Hartman Craven’ and the words ‘IN MEMORIAN 11-10-1910 to 04-01-1993’. On the back there’s a short story, its number ‘16/120’ and it is signed and certified by ‘KEITH CLAYTON’ (Author of numerous rugby books). Other than minor foxing on the back it’s in great condition and measures 32,5cm x 23cm.
