Rare ‘Lalique Naiade’ (Water Nymph) Art Glass Ring or Pin Tray

This wonderful, clear and frosted, crystal ring or pin tray, originally referred to as the ‘Naiade Ashtray’, was made by the famous ‘Lalique’ Company in France. It features a frosted intaglio of a nude water nymph on an arched glass panel above a shallow round glass dish. This special piece of ‘Lalique’ art glass is in mint condition, and would make the perfect ring or pin tray, or an ideal paperweight. The pin tray stands 10cm high with a dish diameter of 9,5cm, and has the signature ‘Lalique France’ clearly etched on the base.

Note: ‘Lalique’ is known as the ultimate symbol of French luxury. The company was founded by renowned glassmaker and jeweller ‘Rene Lalique’ in 1888 and were best known for producing amazing art glass.
