Rare – Victorian ‘Liverpool City Police’ Beaufort/Conical Whistle

This very early, lovely, rare brass ‘Beaufort or Conical’ police whistle from the 1860/70’s, is fixed to a short leather strap. It is stamped ‘LIVERPOOL CITY POLICE’ and ‘PATENT’ near the top, and it measures 7cm in length (without ring), with the strap measuring 17,5cm in length. The whistle works well and is in great condition for its age.
