Rare Victorian Silver ‘Cameronians’ Cross Belt Boss, Chains & Whistle (Scottish Rifles)

This rare, impressive, solid silver Victorian ‘Cameronians’ (Scottish Rifles), Officers ‘Cross Belt Boss, Chains and Whistle’ is in excellent condition and a superb early example of a rare piece. It has been beautifully manufactured in a thick gauge silver with amazing detail, and consists of the Boss, with fourteen Battle Honours, a three-strand chain and the Pharoah Whistle with holder. The Boss has three screw posts at the back and the whistle holder has two screw posts on the side. The set is unmarked but has been tested in numerous places by my jeweller as sterling silver. This fine quality piece weighs 141g and measures 46cm in length
