Royal Copenhagen ‘Village Church’ Vase

This attractive, early, hand painted ‘Royal Copenhagen’ vase, features a Danish village church with green trees on either side, and clouds above, all surrounded by a white wall, against the traditional soft blue and cream background. Other than a minor under glaze fault on the rim, it’s in excellent condition and is stamped with the blue and green factory backstamps along with the model numbers ‘2843 A’ over ‘108’. The vase stands 17cm high, with a diameter of 11cm at its widest and weighs 660g.
