Royal Doulton ‘Gaffers’ Series Ware Dish

This lovely, early, discontinued Royal Doulton series ware dish features a scene from the ‘Gaffers’ series, which was designed by ‘Charles Noke’ and was in production from 1921 to 1949. The character the Gaffer, derives his name from respect, as it refers to either an older man or master, not the more common term used today for a boss. This colourful dish is in excellent condition and measures 13cm x 12cm with a depth of 2,5cm.
