Royal Doulton Series Ware ‘Hundred Years Ago’ Vase (D5499)

This lovely, early, hand painted Royal Doulton vase is decorated in the ‘A Hundred Years Ago’ pattern, which was a series that was only in production for a short period. It was introduced in 1934 and withdrawn in 1946. The vase features a couple having tea around a table with poppy flowers in the foreground. It has the Royal Doulton back stamp and pattern number ‘D5499’ on the base. The vase is in excellent condition and stands 14cm high and 7cm at its widest.
