S.A. – Rare ‘Tembuland Light Horse’ Cap Badge (1905-1909)

This rare, original, good quality bronze metal cap badge worn by the ‘Tembuland Light Horse’ between 1905 and 1909, is in excellent condition with lugs (3) intact and measures 41mm x 34mm. In 1909 they amalgamated with the ‘Border Light Horse’ and the early ‘Transkei Mounted Rifles’ to form the ‘Cape Light Horse’.
