Scarce 1950’s ‘Willam Shakespeare’ SYLVAC Bookends

This rare pair of beige, large ‘SYLVAC’ ceramic bookends from the 1950’s, features a book by ‘William Shakespeare’ with his bust on each. They’re in excellent condition with a lovely matt finish and I believe sand filled and corked to give them weight. They have the ‘SYLVAC’ impressed backstamp on the bases along with their model numbers ‘2366’ and each bookend measures 11cm x 8cm, stands 13,5cm high and together weigh 1855g.
