Scarce Danish Silver ‘Lily’ Jam Spoon (Evald Nielsen)

This lovely, good quality, solid silver jam spoon from the 1920’s, was manufactured by well-known Danish silversmith ‘Evald Nielsen’ (1879–1958) in Copenhagen in 1927. It’s decorated in the art nouveau ‘Lily’ pattern (No.16), with an attractive hand-hammered finish and is clearly hallmarked on the back. This scarce spoon is in excellent condition, with a nice weight and measures 16cm in length by 4,2cm at its widest and weighs 40g. The hallmarks include ‘Evald Nielsen’, ‘ANNO 1927’, ‘830’ and ‘No 16’.
